تأثير هذا الفن على الغرب

يعترف الغرب اليوم بالتأثير الذي مارسته عليه الحضارة الإسلامية ، بما في ذلك الفنون في هذا السياق ، يقل رئيس ومدير متحف ( اللوفر هنري لويرت ) إن تأثير الفنون الإسلامية على ثقافتنا عميق ومستمر ، وقد تأثر بالفن الإسلامي كثير من رواد الحرة الفنية المعاصرة مثل (ماتيس) و(بولكيلي) اللذان عاشا فترة طويلة في البلدان العربية يدرسان تراثها الفني ، كما زار شمال إفريقيا كل من (مونيه)و(ديلاكروا)و(كاندنسكي) وغيرهم...وقد انبهروا بالفن الإسلامي وتأثروا به.
وقد ألهم فن الخط العربي وهو جزء لا يتجزأ من الفنون الإسلامية ، الكثير من الفنانين الغربيين خصوصاً خلال القرن العشرين الميلادي كا(الشينسكي) و(دوترمونت) و(ميشو) على سبيل المثال ،حيث شكل هذا الفن بالنسبة لهم مدخلاً جديداً لخلق اشكال جديدة من الفنون .
فكاندينسكي في بحوثه ، يظهر أنه يجسد أستمرارية فكر كبأر الخطاطين الشرقيين الذين سبقوه من قبل كما يعترف (ماتيس) بالتأثير الذي مارسه الفن العربي على خطوطه وألوانه . يقول في هذا الإطار : إن الوحي أتاني من الشرق وبالتحديد من الإسلام . هذا الفن أثر في كثيراً ، خصوصاً أثناء معرض ميونيخ الرائع ... لأن هذا الفن يمنح فضاءً أوسعا ، فضاءً تشكيلياً بكل معنى الكلمة
