مفهوم عملية التدريب . يحاول المهتمون بمفهوم التدريب أن يميزوا بين تدريب القوى البشرية وبين تنمية تلك القوى ، فيحدد بعضهم مفهوم التدريب على أنه نقل مهارات معينة إلى المتدربين وتوجيههم لإتقان تلك المهارات إلى مستوى أداء مقبول ، أما التنمية فيحددونها على أنها تطوير المهارات للعاملين في مؤسسة ما ، ليكونوا أكثر تهيؤا لقبول تحديات مهامهم أو وظائف جديدة أوكلت إليهم .


ويعرف التدريب : بأنه يعني ذلك الجهد المنظم والمخطط لتزويد العاملين في الجهاز التعليمي بمعارف معينة وتحسين مهاراتهم وقدراتهم وتطويرها ، وتغيير سلوكهم واتجاهاتهم بشكل إيجابي بناء ، وهو عملية منظمة ومستمرة ترمي إلى تحسين أداء العاملين في العمل ، ليكون أداء فعالا لتحقيق نتائج معينة يتطلبها ذلك العمل من خلال قيام الموظف أو المعلم بأعمال ومهمات معينة تتفق وسياسات وإجراءات وظروف المؤسسة التعليمية التي يعمل بها ذلك الموظف أو المعلم .


ويعرف التدريب كذلك بأنه : عملية تهدف لإكساب المعارف والخبرات التي يحتاج إليها الإنسان ، وتحصيل المعلومات التي تنقصه ، والاتجاهات الصالحة للعمل والسلطة ، والأنماط السلوكية والمهارات الملائمة ، والعادات اللازمة من اجل رفع مستوى كفايته في الأداء .


ويعرف التدريب على أنه : جهد نظامي متكامل مستمر يهدف إلى إثراء أو تنمية معرفة الفرد ومهارته وسلوكه لأداء عمله بدرجة عالية من الكفاءة والفاعلية .


وكما عرف التدريب أيضا أنه : عملية منتظمة ومستمرة خلال حياة الفرد تهدف إلى تعزيز قدرة الفرد على تحقيق مستوى عال في أدائه ونموه المهني ، يتم ذلك من خلال إكسابه معلومات ومهارات واتجاهات مرتبطة بمجال عمله أو تخصصه .


ويعرف التدريب بأنه " نشاط مخطط يهدف لتنمية القدرات والمهارات الفنية والسلوكية للأفراد العاملين لتمكينهم من أداء فاعل ومثمر يؤدي لبلوغ أهدافهم الشخصية وأهداف المنظمة بأعلى كفاءة ممكنة ".


ومن تعريفات التدريب بأنه : عملية منظمة مستمرة محورها الفرد تهدف إلى أحداث تغيرات محددة سلوكية وفنية وذهنية ، لمقابلة احتياجات محددة حالياً أو مستقبلياً ، يتطلبها الفرد والعمل الذي يؤديه والمنظمة التي يعمل فيها .


ويعرف التدريب بأنه "الجهود الإدارية أو التنظيمية التي تهدف إلى تحسين قدرة الإنسان على أداء عمل معين أو القيام بدور محدد في المنظمة التي يعمل بها " .


والتدريب كذلك هو : تزويد الفرد بالأساليب والخبرات والاتجاهات العلمية والعملية السليمة اللازمة لإستخدام المعارف والمهارات الحالية التي يمتلكها أو الجديدة التي يكتسبها بما يمكنه من تقديم أفضل أداء ممكن في وظيفته الحالية ، ويعده للقيام بالمهام الوظيفية المستقبلية وفق مخطط علمي لاحتياجاته التدريبية .
